KARACHI: A fire broke out o
n the third floor of a garment f
actory near Karachi’s site area i
n the wee hours of Friday.
According to details, as many as 18 fire tenders and five water bowsers are taking part i
n the fire-fighting operation at the f
actory near Naurus Chowrangi, while the blaze has been declared ‘third degree’.
The power supply of the f
actory was immediately disconnected as the fire engulfed part of t
he building.

No one was present inside the f
actory, claim
ed fire-fighting officials, adding that all the workers inside were evacuated safely.
The blaze o
n the third floor of t
he building has been doused however, the operation was underway o
n the first and second floors.
